Dr. Fitzpatrick was referred to me as a practice broker, by my financial adviser. I had already used a different broker for an evaluation a couple of years before. The difference was very apparent. She patiently explained the process and very little varied from that overview. I had no surprises regarding costs. It was more labor intensive (for me, at times) than I had expected, but I was always able to get answers, and quickly. She was also more affordable than many other brokers, and I believe offered much more value in that regards. The sale came with the second potential buyer, and there was plenty of help with that process as well. Regarding her assistance in finding and placing a very good new graduate DVM as our 3rd doctor, I could not be happier with the outcome.
We hired Dr. Fitzpatrick (VP Veterinary Recruiters) in January 2023. We had been looking for an associate veterinarian for our mixed-animal practice for about three years. We were beginning to think it was never going to happen, and we would just have to walk away from everything when the time came. She gave us hope! In less than one month, she had found three candidates. We shortly set up two interviews, and the second prospect said she wanted to work in our practice! Dr. Fitzpatrick works tirelessly to find candidates, screens them, then sets up “meet and greet” online interviews. She makes recommendations and has a great rapport for candidates and owners alike.
Working with Dr. Sheila Fitzpatrick has been beyond my expectations. After trying unsuccessfully to hire and getting minimal responses to my advertising, Dr. Fitzpatrick reached out to me and offered a sympathetic ear and her expertise. She quickly organized me and we revamped my ads and placement. She made recommendations that were helpful and clear. She took the time to identify my needs. She really worked the system to find me numerous interviewees from which to choose. I hired very quickly directly as a result of her handiwork.
We hired Dr. Fitzpatrick in early October to assist us in finding a new Veterinarian. We have been without a full time Vet since beginning of June. Dr. Fitzpatrick just forwarded a letter of acceptance from our new Vet this morning, November 20th. She is a pleasure to work with! Professional, thoughtful, hard-working, knowledgeable and determined are just a few of her qualities. She is also a terrific communicator. Her fee is also extremely reasonable. I highly recommend her!
I would highly recommend Sheila Fitzpatrick as a recruiter. She is the hardest working person I have ever seen. She is smart. loyal, and knows our profession inside and out. Once her services are started, she is like a Pit Bull and doesn’t let go, and follows through until she finds a person worth hiring. Sheila has helped our practice tremendously. She has helped with our practice management as well as finding us quality veterinarians and veterinary technicians to hire. She is generous with her time and doesn’t give up. She is an honest person and has really been a good friend as well. She’s matter of fact and will tell you what you need to hear, even if you don’t want to hear it. She is also fun to be around, but keeps us centered on what is needed. I would have no reservations about hiring Sheila Fitzpatrick. There are few people that can match her skills.
