As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for comprehensive medical care, including routine physical examinations, surgeries, dentistry, and diagnostics. Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with clients and understand their pets’ needs.
• Perform physical exams, surgeries, and dental procedures with a focus on high-quality care.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care recommendations to clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and adhere to practice protocols.
• Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and attend Continuing Education (CE) events.
• Mentor and support the veterinary team, including technicians and support staff.
• Positively represent the hospital within the veterinary and local communities.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary license in good standing in Virginia.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
• Surgical proficiency is a plus.
