Responsibilities:
Build strong client relationships and understand their pets’ needs.
Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures with an emphasis on minimizing patient stress.
Clearly communicate diagnoses and treatment plans to pet owners.
Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to hospital protocols.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through Continuing Education (CE).
Mentor and develop the paraprofessional team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Represent the hospital positively in the community.
Treat every pet like family.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
Active Texas veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to make sound medical decisions and collaborate with the team.
Commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine.
Surgical proficiency is a plus.
