Responsibilities
- Build rapport with clients and assess their pets’ needs and health concerns
- Conduct physical exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Provide clear diagnoses and treatment plans, educating clients on pet care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols
- Stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine and attend CE meetings
- Support and mentor veterinary staff to enhance patient care and service
- Positively represent the hospital within the veterinary and local community
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in South Carolina
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication, and a friendly attitude
- Strong decision-making and teamwork skills
- Dedication to high standards of veterinary care and ethics
- Proficiency in surgery is a plus
