Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with clients and assess their pets’ needs and health concerns
  • Conduct physical exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures
  • Provide clear diagnoses and treatment plans, educating clients on pet care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols
  • Stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine and attend CE meetings
  • Support and mentor veterinary staff to enhance patient care and service
  • Positively represent the hospital within the veterinary and local community

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in South Carolina
  • Professional demeanor, excellent communication, and a friendly attitude
  • Strong decision-making and teamwork skills
  • Dedication to high standards of veterinary care and ethics
  • Proficiency in surgery is a plus
