Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with clients to assess their pets’ health and needs
• Conduct physical exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures
• Provide clear diagnoses and treatment plans while educating clients
• Maintain accurate patient medical records and adhere to protocols
• Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and attend CE meetings
• Mentor and support veterinary staff to ensure top-quality patient care
• Represent the hospital positively within the veterinary and local community

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in South Carolina
• Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a friendly attitude
• Strong decision-making and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to high-quality veterinary care and ethical standards
• Proficiency in surgery is a plus
