Responsibilities
- Establish rapport with clients to assess their pets’ health and needs
- Conduct physical exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Provide clear diagnoses and treatment plans while educating clients
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and adhere to protocols
- Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and attend CE meetings
- Mentor and support veterinary staff to ensure top-quality patient care
- Represent the hospital positively within the veterinary and local community
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in South Carolina
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a friendly attitude
- Strong decision-making and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to high-quality veterinary care and ethical standards
- Proficiency in surgery is a plus
