About the Area

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of animal illnesses and conditions
  • Conduct tests and observations to provide accurate diagnoses
  • Prescribe necessary medications and administer vaccines
  • Offer therapeutic treatments for injuries and health conditions
  • Educate pet owners on treatment plans, preventive care, and general pet health
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other staff to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with a current state license (or pending graduation)
  • Experience preferred but not required
  • Strong passion for animal care and welfare
  • Knowledge of veterinary best practices and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions
  • Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to challenges
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy for both animals and their owners
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Leadership capabilities and teamwork-oriented mindset
