About the Role

As a veterinarian at our Buford, GA, practice, you’ll play a vital role in improving the health and well-being of pets while delivering compassionate client care. Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with clients and understand their pets’ needs.
• Perform thorough physical exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures.
• Clearly communicate findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to pet owners.
• Educate clients on preventive health care, vaccinations, and nutrition.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure medical protocols are followed.
• Stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine through CE opportunities.
• Support and mentor the paraprofessional team to maintain exceptional patient care.
• Represent the hospital positively within the veterinary and local communities.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary license in good standing in Georgia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions and work collaboratively with the team.
• Passion for providing exceptional pet care and client service.
• Surgical proficiency is a plus.
