Our full-service hospital provides comprehensive care, including urgent care services, to pets in the community and beyond. Services We Provide:

• Preventive and wellness care
• Diagnostic imaging, including digital radiography
• Soft tissue and orthopedic surgery
• Dentistry, including teeth cleaning, extractions, and oral surgery
• Vaccinations and parasite control
• Emergency and urgent care
• Client education on health care and wellness

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Maryland
• Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
• The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
• Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
• Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
• Proficiency in surgery is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop a rapport with clients to determine their needs and wishes
• Perform physical examinations, diagnostic tests, surgeries, and dental procedures with a focus on providing the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress
• Communicate findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to clients
• Educate clients on preventive care, including vaccines, diet, and other health concerns
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical/surgical records and logs
• Stay current with new developments in veterinary medicine and attend Continuing Education meetings
• Assist in training and developing paraprofessional team members
• Represent the hospital positively in the community
• Treat every client like family and every patient like your own pet

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $115,000 – $160,000/year, plus an additional production percentage
