Our full-service hospital provides comprehensive care, including urgent care services, to pets in the community and beyond. - Preventive and wellness care
- Diagnostic imaging, including digital radiography
- Soft tissue and orthopedic surgery
- Dentistry, including teeth cleaning, extractions, and oral surgery
- Vaccinations and parasite control
- Emergency and urgent care
- Client education on health care and wellness

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Maryland
- Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
- Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
- Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- Proficiency in surgery is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Develop a rapport with clients to determine their needs and wishes
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostic tests, surgeries, and dental procedures with a focus on providing the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress
- Communicate findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to clients
- Educate clients on preventive care, including vaccines, diet, and other health concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical/surgical records and logs
- Stay current with new developments in veterinary medicine and attend Continuing Education meetings
- Assist in training and developing paraprofessional team members
- Represent the hospital positively in the community
- Treat every client like family and every patient like your own pet
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $115,000 – $160,000/year, plus an additional production percentage
