Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Maryland
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Commitment to high-quality medicine and veterinary ethics
  • Proficiency in surgery is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with clients and provide top-tier medical care to their pets
  • Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and dental care
  • Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care recommendations to clients
  • Maintain accurate medical records and assist in patient follow-ups
  • Stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine through CE
  • Contribute to the development of veterinary support staff
  • Represent the hospital professionally in the community
  • Treat every client like family and each patient like your own pet
