Responsibilities:

• Establish strong client relationships and understand their needs.
• Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures with an emphasis on patient comfort and stress reduction.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses and treatment plans to pet owners.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Stay informed on advancements in veterinary medicine through Continuing Education (CE).
• Mentor and develop the paraprofessional team to ensure high-quality care.
• Represent the hospital positively in the community.
• Treat every pet like family.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
• Active Texas veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to make sound medical decisions and collaborate with the team.
• Commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine.
• Surgical proficiency is a plus.
