Description:
- Responsible for the ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices and the delivery of patient care
- Monitor associate doctor performance and production
- In collaboration with the hospital manager, help drive the financial performance of the hospital, including revenue generation and expense management
- Explain physical examination findings and communicate a diagnosis to the client, along with a treatment plan for the pet
- Educate clients on preventative healthcare, including vaccines and nutritional products
- Maintain up-to-date client/patient medical records and logs
- Assist colleagues with follow-up and future patient management
- Stay informed about new medical information and attend Continuing Education meetings
- Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure high-quality care and exceptional client service
- Treat every client like family and each patient like your own pet
Qualifications:
- DVM from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas
- 3+ years of leadership/management experience, preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian, required
Requirements:
- Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- Ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
- Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
- Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- Proficiency in surgery is a plus

Additional Info:
Eligible DVMs will earn a bonus payout of up to 10% additional production in the month after contract renewal, determined by the contracted production rate and amount of excess production.
